arickard supporting RMJ Horse Rescue

As we step into 2024, arickard is proud to be supporting RMJ Horse Rescue — a cause we genuinely care about.

On Sunday 21st January 2024, RMJ will be opening their stables in Siġġiewi, giving people a chance to meet the team, the volunteers, and the horses they care for. arickard is sponsoring the carrots and apples for the day, so visitors can feed the horses themselves.

A bit about RMJ Horse Rescue: RMJ Horse Rescue started around 2016 by Corinne Farrugia, who used to look for horses needing rescue, rehabilitate them, and find them a home. Through word of mouth and social media, more horses started finding their way to her — and what began as one person's quiet work grew into the only horse rescue NGO in Malta.

Today, RMJ is home to over 80 rescued horses in the Siġġiewi countryside, many of them ex-racehorses who would otherwise have been sent for slaughter. The work runs almost entirely on volunteers and donations.

If you're in Malta this Sunday, come visit the open stables. And if you can't make it but want to help, RMJ welcomes donations and sponsors year-round https://www.rmjshorserescue.org/shop/

Every contribution keeps the gates open.
